About Catherine Putzier
What can I tell you about myself that will even keep your attention? I paint because I desire to. I started at a very young age as my mother was my first teacher. I have now painted in every medium that I know of. I am a control freak, oils and pastels at first. I dabbled with watercolor for many years, gave up, they wouldn't sit still. I went back to pastels. Oh how I could control them. I moved on to acrylics, my control freak loved them too. I tried watercolor again years later. I was getting better at letting go in my old age. While watching you tube videos (yes you can learn anything on the internet) trying to improve my watercolor techniques I found alcohol inks. They move where they want to. They are unpredictable.
